Whether it is bee keeping at Seattle-Tacoma, grazing herds of goats at Chicago O'Hare, drilling for oil at Dallas/Fort Worth, putting on a pop concert at Incheon (Seoul), organising fun runs on the runway at Helsinki or Halifax, surfing the waves in Munich, investing in the latest security technology and IT systems or building a new $1 billion terminal, if it has happened at an airport in the last 30 years the chances are I have written about it for a magazine, newspaper, book or online in my capacity as a journalist and editor.
Exprerienced professional
I started my career as a trainee journalist/copytaker at Heathrow-based Brenard Press in 1982 and went on to write news stories for local and national newspapers in the UK, and briefly worked as a medical reporter, before switching to write exclusively about aviation and the transportation industry in 1993.
I have edited Airport World for Insight Media/Aviation Media for the last years and am also editor of Asia-Pacific Airports magazine.
The latest chapter
My new freelance status, since June 2015, means that I am now free to take on other assignments and I am certainly keen to build on my core base of clients.
